Welcome to our CWPP page. If you attended the Bergheim CWPP overview or one of the other meetings hosted in Kendall County - Thank you. If not, here is some of what you missed. Our Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) will be a strategic plan developed with the CWPP coordinator, Kendall County Judge Shane Stolarczyk,  Bergheim Volunteer fire department, and federal and state land managers. A CWPP is designed to guide wildfire mitigation and, in this case, a plan for our area to address issues such as wildfire response, hazard mitigation, community preparedness, and structure protection.

Here we hope to provide you with access to resources through links and materials related to the Bergheim and Kendall County Areas. Address issues such as wildfire response, hazard mitigation, community preparedness, structure protection—or all of the above.
